This result includes digital escape rooms for fostering active citizenship to youths. Within this contexts youths will have the opportunity to cultivate the rest of the competences proposed by LIFEComp framework: managing learning, critical thinking, growth mindset and self-regulation, by using participatory and digital storytelling.
Solving quizzes and riddles to escape a room, the young people to participate will improve the above- mentioned key competences and at the same time, they will acquire a more structured knowledge on media literacy education, while they will develop crucial skills such as critical thinking skills and digital skills to further support them and encourage them to be engaged, connected, and empowered as active citizens.
